Dr Jordan Blum

Background & Education

Dr Jordan Blum earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery, Biomedical Honours and Bachelor of Science degrees all at The University of Melbourne — graduating with a first year Dux award and multiple Dean’s Honours awards. His strong academic foundation gives him a depth of clinical knowledge that he brings to every patient interaction.

Philosophy of Care

Dr Blum is dedicated to delivering high quality, patient-centred care. His approach to dentistry is founded on building genuine connections with his patients, and creating a calm and positive experience through a gentle touch.

Jordan considers himself a perfectionist and purist — with the belief of delivering only his best and greatest work in everything he does. He takes tremendous pride in the quality and precision of every treatment, no matter how routine or complex.

Clinical Interests

Dr Blum enjoys practising the full scope of general dentistry, with a particular passion for endodontics (root canal therapy) and prosthodontics (crowns, bridges and restorations). He brings a wealth of knowledge gained through ongoing academic pursuits, and spends much of his free time reading and writing journal articles to stay at the forefront of dental research.

Volunteering & Community

Dr Blum is passionate about giving back. He led the Teddy Bear Hospital dentistry committee at the Royal Children’s Hospital, helping make dentistry less frightening for young patients. He has also travelled to rural Nepal for dental outreach programs, delivering care to underserved communities.
