Root Canal Treatment

With new technology root canals are more comfortable and more successful.

root canal 2

A root canal is a treatment option for a badly damaged tooth. If the nerve of a tooth has been compromised due to bacteria or otherwise, a root canal can be performed in attempt to save the tooth.

We know that root canals have a bad reputation and a lot of stigma. We will work with you to address any issues and answer any questions. With proper technique and sufficient anesthetic, root canals can be done with minimal discomfort.

Recent studies have shown that under the right conditions root canals can have as high as a 93% success rate over 10 years.

Anxious patients can discuss the options of conscious sedation or be referred for sleep dentistry.

The two stage process: Root Canal Treatment Cost

Stage 1

The tooth is thoroughly cleaned and dressed with antibiotics. A temporary filling is placed on the tooth. The temporary filling can last up to eight weeks. Stage one costs $720 (including all x-rays etc). This cost is deducted from the pricing table on the right upon completion of the root canal. This first stage will take approximately 45 minutes.

Stage 2

The root canal system is re-cleaned and a root filling is carefully placed. Depending on the complexity of the case, this stage may take approximately 90 minutes from start to finish.
